Unboxed Productions is ready to produce our second production. The tales of a remarkable trio in a most unusual job. This show answers the question- What is it like for a woman when her husband becomes the President of the United States? Each of the three portraits becomes intimate by degrees, as the women wrestle with what Pat Nixon called “the hardest unpaid job in the world.” Eighty-five minutes of heartwarming delight.
Particularly pertinent in an era of heightened politics, Tea for Three humanizes the political scene with a story both whimsical and deeply moving- a behind the scene look at Lady Bird Johnson, Pat Nixon, and Betty Ford. It shares the journey of each as she faces her final days in the fishbowl of First Ladydom.
